Buyer Beware re: Internet Ordering of Dresses
Hey Ladies:
This news is something we have been meaning to post for a few months but was worried that it might be taken as “salesy” or trying to deter from finding a deal but we have had so many last minute tragedies that when we finally got the news from one of our respected VENDORS/DESIGNERS, we thought, “it’s really time to share”!

Dear Loyal Retailers:
Please be aware that multiple website companies are fraudulently selling bridesmaids and bridal gowns.
These companies appear to be selling several top brands, however, are not legitimate retail sources.
We believe it most important for us to express to you that Watters is not connected with any of these companies and strongly urges you to warn your brides not to purchase from any unauthorized websites.
These matters are taken seriously and we are pursuing legal action. Again please advise any potential bride or bridesmaids not to order from these sites, as they are putting at risk not only monies but the most important day as well.

So, girls, I know everyone wants a deal, and yes, it’s ANOTHER dress you have to wear for a friends wedding that you’re CERTAIN you’ll never wear again, but the worst is when: (the following has happened to ladies we had to then order dresses for)
-You find out 3 weeks AFTER you ordered this online dress at such a great price that it’s unavailable. Oh! AND, they don’t give you your money back.
-The dress actually arrives but it’s not the same color AT ALL compared to the rest of the girls who ordered it from an actual store.
-The dress actually arrives but it’s not the same DRESS that was shown in the photo or the one the bride wants you to order. These companies just steal the photos straight from the designers websites.
-What we have had to do to cover any issues is try to RUSH the dress at the last minute for girls. So then, you’re paying for the dress, a rush fee or you cannot get it at all. :(
Ok, whooo! We’re done. Just be careful and please trust that we are following requirements set upon us by our designers as far as pricing. Discounts are always available for various reasons! Just ask!

2010 Trunk Show schedule and other important tidbits
Hey Ladies! We are really excited to be in the midst of busy season. With that comes great opportunities to attend trunk shows with some of our favorite designers. What is a trunk show exactly? Good question! Trunk Shows are special events where we fly in a representative or sometimes the designer him/herself to show off the latest collections. While we obviously carry this designer, they will ship to us special designs, samples we DON’T carry and also offer tweaks or customized options for your dress, veil and accessories. It’s a really cool way to get something NO ONE ELSE would ever have on their wedding day. That’s our favorite part! YOUR favorite tidbit to know is this: discounts are available during trunk show weekends that may not be at any other time. So check out who you want to come see and we will gladly schedule your appointment!
