La Jeune Mariee Purchase Agreement

I understand and agree to the following terms:

La Jeune Mariee does not have my gown in their store and my dress is being ordered especially for me.

• All ship dates are approximate. La Jeune Mariee is not responsible for early shipping or for any shipping delays or for changes in the event date. We will only be responsible for the original event date as listed on this agreement.
• La Jeune Mariee has a limited timeframe during which gowns may be exchanged by the manufacturer due to manufacturer errors. If I do not pick up my dress within fourteen (14) days, La Jeune Mariee is not responsible for any manufacturer errors.
• Bridesmaid orders will not be placed with the manufacturer until all bridesmaids have been measured and all deposits have been made.
• I am required to pay one-half the purchase price of the gown and all taxes before La Jeune Mariee can order my gown. This down payment is non-refundable upon signing this contract.
• Manufacturers may charge extra for large sizes, extra length, custom changes to the gown, and rush-cuts. These fees are subject to change and can be added to my balance due.
• Any custom changes I request when ordering my gown are my responsibility. La Jeune Mariee will not be liable for any reason for the effect these changes have on the appearance and/or fit of my gown.
• After the order is placed with La Jeune Mariee, no changes can be made.
• NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY REASON.
• La Jeune Mariee will contact the bride as soon as my gown arrives in the store. I must come into the store within 14 days to inspect my gown and take it home. No corrections to the gown can be made after 14 days. If the gown is not picked up within 14 days, a $5.00 per week storage fee will be charged.
• When my gown is paid in full, I may choose to have my gown altered by a seamstress of my choice. Most gowns will need at least some kind of alterations.
• Alterations are an extra charge and are NOT included in the price of my gown. La Jeune Mariee does not have a seamstress.
• There are absolutely no verbal contracts or agreements involving this order/sale.
• To reduce any errors or confusion, La Jeune Mariee will communicate with the bride only, regarding any orders.

To pick up my gown: I must pay by CASH OR CREDIT CARD ONLY. NO CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP. If I want to use a check, La Jeune Mariee will hold my gown until my check clears.

This purchase is a final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, refunded, or credited___ (initial)

La Jeune Mariee is not responsible for loss or damage to the garment or for the fit of the garment after it leaves the store and/or after alterations are done to the garment.

If the occasion is postponed or cancelled, the gown is still mine. The gown must be picked up within a period of 30 days after the original event date or it will become the property of La Jeune Mariee. Any monies paid are forfeit.

Each designer has its own size chart. My bust, waist, hip and sometimes height help determine the size I need to order. Professional measurements are required.

• I have been shown the size chart from the manufacturer I am ordering my gown from.
• I understand that this gown is not a custom made gown, and is cut to the manufacturer’s size chart. I will need to have the gown altered and alterations will be an extra charge by a seamstress of my choosing.
