Sara Gabriel Trunk Show

We’re putting the spotlight on one of our favorite ladies, who happens to have a trunk show coming up here at La Jeune Mariee January 24-26! If you’re a #futuremrs looking to add some sparkle to your wedding day look, Sara’s your gal!

Denver-based Sara Gabriel creates wedding accessories with vintage-inspirations that embody the spirited traditionalist.

Having grown my tiny company into one of the most sought-after and recognizable brands in the industry, I am committed to staying true to my roots. I create my designs in the most difficult way possible: completely by hand, one at a time and just for you from beginning to end. Every veil is individually cut, every crystal is hand placed and every lace appliqué attached one at a time, just like the first pieces I made over 18 years ago. Not everyone does it this way but I believe that the care and love my team and I put into each piece will show from the moment you open your box to the moment you walk down the aisle!

Sara is SO much fun + we can’t wait for her to join us again at our boutique!

Veils, headpieces, jewelry, sashes + gown changers - all hand crafted one at a time just for you, #bridebabe

I design my collection each year with one eye on traditional elements that grant a timeless quality to the brides who wear them, and the other eye on free-thinking, spirited brides who know who they are and want their personality to show. I want every one of my brides to sparkle and shine in her own way, and I use glittering Swarovski crystals, classic French laces, refined construction techniques and the softest veiling tulle imaginable to ensure they do. Ultimately, I'm inspired by you! ♥︎

Sara herself will be joining us at the trunk show to make all your accessory dreams come true!

If you thought choosing your dress was fun, just wait until you start accessorizing! Oh my gosh, it's even better! Putting your dress on again? Yes, please! Trying on oodles of sparkly things? Um, YES! A consultant or myself to help style your wedding day look? OMG! Seeing everything come together is one of the most special (and fun!) moments for a bride and I LOVE that I get to be a part of it! Psst...most boutiques also offer discounts during the show, making this good thing even better. Check below to see when my trunks will be in your neighborhood!

Debra Moreland, the creative director and founder of PARIS by Debra Moreland, is a visionary in the bridal accessories industry. Debra’s years of endless inspiration designing two annual collections for PARIS by Debra Moreland is an artistic triumph.

Unlike some design firms, Debra personally creates all her original designs, and she and her staff of dedicated artists work side by side to engineer and replicate those unique creations into collections. Each collection, inspired by Debra’s innate interests in architecture, fine art, music, nature, or vintage Hollywood, is an evolution in the pages of her design diary, and continues to add to her immense body of work. The result? Thousands of her designs are archived at the PARIS by Debra Moreland studio.

Jenny Packham X Style Me Pretty Interview

“One of The World’s Most Loved Bridal Designers Spills All Her Secrets”

Jenny Packham Interview
by Meredith Hurley for Style Me Pretty

We’re sharing a bit of Style Me Pretty’s fabulous interview with Jenny Packham, by Meredith Hurley. For the full article, click here.

Meredith: Tell us a little bit about how you came to design (such beautiful!) wedding gowns? Have you always known you wanted to do this or was a passion that grew out of something else?

Jenny: Our first bridal collection launched in 1997, after many brides were requesting versions of our evening gowns in ivory. At the time, beautiful ball gowns were in vogue and our design aesthetic transformed the bridal industry. I have always wanted to design and create beautiful pieces for special moments, to play a part in someone’s history and such a special day is an honor.

I love the process from my initial sketch to sourcing fabrics and seeing the final look in the atelier. To create a garment that makes a woman feel elegant and confident in, is both my greatest pleasure and challenge.

Meredith: What inspires your overall range? What three words would you use to describe the Jenny Packham brand?

Jenny: I find inspiration everywhere I go from my travels, to a nineteenth century painting Gand a beautiful antique piece of jewelry. Our signature style is soft and romantic with vintage inspired beading. I would say that Jenny Packham brides are after a softer silhouette and something more fashion forward.

Meredith: Best advice for a bride just beginning her wedding gown shopping experience?

Jenny: Take your time to find your perfect gown - try lots of different silhouettes and styles until you find the one that makes you feel wonderful. Take a good friend with you who will give you honest advice and most importantly enjoy the process!
